A very important point of writing is educating your audience. A way to educate your audience is by laying out a step-by-step plan on what the audience should expect but also teach them explicitly what your topic is about. Process explanation essays are essays that offer a lot of information in a logical order so the audience understand completely what the narrative is about. The way I will use process explanation in my essay is I will clearly explain my topic, I will offer a lot of needed information so the audience knows exactly what is going on. I will offer easy to understand definitions and explanations so the audience will stay in tuned and engaged while always knowing what is going on. My explanations will lead to a step-by-step analysis that end with a call of action. The call of action will be powerful and persuasive because of how well I explained the topic and why it matters : In teaching an audience of the writing process I will begin speaking of the thesis statement. Before creating your thesis statement, you might want to figure out what type of paper you will be writing. The four types of papers are analytical, expository, argumentative, and claim. If your paper does not fall under one of these categories you may want to add in your thesis statement at the very beginning in the first paragraph to give your reader a little bit of a hint. When writing your thesis statement you should try and be as specific as possible. It should cover what is going to be talked about in the essay followed by evidence. Through out the essay your topic may change a little bit and therefore you may need to revise your thesis statement a little bit. It is important to include these thesis statements because it sets up an audience and allows them to begin to process what will be happening throughout the narrative. Narratives can sometimes make the narrative more interesting by allowing the reader to create in his imagination what is going to happen and then that will lead to assumptions and possibly build up on the peek of a story.
