47 SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Supreme Court of the United States of America
There are mixed perceptions and views on the performance and work that the Supreme Court does in accordance with the political ideology, as well as the current position of the court. I understand that the Supreme Court has an important role in the United States governance. The Supreme Court exploits constitutional powers to check the actions of the Congress and the President in necessary conditions. Nevertheless, the institution is not all-powerful because the other two United States government system branches limit the Supremes Court powers. For instance, the United States president has the authority to advise the court prior to the voting exercise by the Senate in the nominations.
The United States Supreme Court has two vital roles that involve interpretation and expounding of the congressional enactments. The court also has a role in examining the federal, state statutes, and executive actions in accordance with the constitutional clauses.
The Supreme Court plays a substantive role in the protection or preservation of the civil liberties and rights under the influence of generation of critical rulings on cases. All the aspects entail the development or enactment of rules to interpret the implementation of guidelines in relation to disabilities, employment issues, segregation, and voting rights.
In addition, the institution is essential in the provision of appropriate opportunity for the individuals to exercise their rights in accordance with the constitutional obligations. For instance, the Supreme Court of the United States reaffirms the usage and integration of the equal opportunity policies with the intention of offering a fair environment in pursuit of employment opportunities. Nevertheless, the Supreme Court must enjoy substantial powers such as appointments of the justices, rather than to depend on the executive and the legislative arms of government for the process execution. The approach will be ideal in the pursuit of adequate protection to the civil liberties in the United States.
