Thesis:
How did the monotheistic belief of King Akhenaten affect Egypt? The new religious system that King Akhenaten forced on Egyptians was something unusual for Egyptian society at the time compared to western countries, this, of course, made people react a certain way to the changes that were brought. I believe this is important to investigate mainly to understand why it was not until the 19th century that we were able to obtain information regarding the monotheism of Akhenaten in ancient Egypt.
