After watching the movie identify one character that exhibits mental illness to analyze in a 5-6page paper. Be sure to include the following in your paper:
Our textbook definition or criteria for a mental disorder or DSM-5 Diagnosis (PDF of the DSM can be found here: https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn%3Aaaid%3Ascds%3AUS%3A907fa51f-b6cb-494c-95b1-5cacf626fc55 (Links to an external site.) ) Be sure to include a summary of the diagnostic criteria and how the character met the criteria. The textbook criteria is probably easier but you may use either.
A discussion of how the disorder manifests for the character (what are the observable characteristics/behaviors)
Are there any co-morbid diagnoses that contribute to overall mental health and character functioning?
What caused the disorder to manifest for the characters? What were the triggers that proceeded disorder on-set, if known.
What additional facts not brought out in the movie might be helpful to make a more definitive diagnosis.
What treatment techniques might you use and why ?
5-6 pages of actual content, plus a title page, a list of references, APA formatted.
