PHM 140 Final Project Guidelines
NOTES: Deadline for submission of your final project will be Wednesday, May 1?, 2024, by 2359.
Please make every effort not to delay starting on this project until the final week. To assist you in using your time wisely, you have an optional assignment for week 6 to submit your draft. This draft may be an outline of your final project or it may be a fully formatted draft version of the project.
Prompt: Choose one of the cultures we have discussed over the recent 7 weeks and answer the following question as if you were presenting this material to technician students like yourself who have not taken this course.
NOTE: The culture of your choosing should not be the culture with which you identify.
Compare and contrast your own culture with that of the culture you have chosen to focus on?
Discuss the impact of the healthcare beliefs and practices for this culture?

What main lesson will you take from this class in your interactions with both patients and team members from a different culture than your own?
Format: Your final project may be submitted either as a 3 to 5-page, double-spaced paper in no larger than 12-point font or a Power Point presentation with voice-over recording of 15 to 20 slides, not including the Title and Reference slide. You should cite a minimum of 2 additional references other than your textbook.
Rubric: The grading rubric will be like the grading rubric that has been used for other written submissions and will be made available to you as well.
