Discuss your thoughts, feelings & beliefs that you have about the shelter before attending. Were any preconceptions different after attending? What was the expierence like from a personal and professional view?What did you do while you were there? Explain and be honest!
List when, where & what type of shelter you attended. Who was in charge of the shelter?
Discuss the enviornment was like, common health concers experienced by the population, how they recieve care, infection control issues at the shelfter, are the residents there for short or long term, what communicty services are available medical, mental health, financial, ADLs, etc. Be descriptive.
Discuss if this is a targeted Population by Healthy People 2020. If so, discuss which initiatives it applies to and why.
