This week, students are reviewing Chapter 7: Reflecting on the screen The reception of movies.
The movie theme for the week is Personality. Young (2012) provides an overview of what contributes to viewer enjoyment and subsequent success of films. Pros and cons of the audience response and the overall success of a film are also discussed
Each week, students will complete a reflection paper that demonstrates the application/integration of the constructs learned. Prompts are provided below to help guide the content of these reflection papers. They should adhere to APA formatting, include 2-3 empirical references (textbook, journal articles included in weekly folder, the film viewed for that week) with proper citations throughout each entry, and should be no less than 3-4 pages (excluding separate cover and reference page).
